The Plainfield Cardinals topped the visiting Perth Amboy Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roselle Catholic for a Union County - Valley test on Monday, September 11. Plainfield will confront a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Colonia (Colonia, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Minutemen enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Elizabeth was knocked off by Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
