The Florin Panthers flag football team scored 33 points and held the visiting Valley Vikings to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Monday.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Florin will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Thundering Herd enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 13-6 non-league win over Johnson (Sacramento, CA).

The Vikings (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Foothill (Sacramento, CA). The Mustangs enter the Greater Sacramento League challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Foothill was ripped by Fairfield (Fairfield, CA), 27-13, in a league challenge.
