Idaho High School Soccer - Wood River knocks off Minico

In Monday's league outing, the visiting Wood River Wolverines soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Minico Spartans.
The Wolverines (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Twin Falls (Twin Falls, ID). The Bruins come into the 5A Great Basin test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Twin Falls edged Burley (Burley, ID), 9-0, in a league test.
The Spartans now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jerome for a 5A Great Basin test on Wednesday, September 10. Minico will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 5-1 league win over Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
