In Monday's non-league match, the host Knox Central Panthers football squad scored a good 38-8 triumph over the Bell County Bobcats.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Colonels come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
The Bobcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Laurel (London, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, North Laurel toppled Estill County (Irvine, KY), 35-20, in a non-league challenge.
