In Monday's non-league test, the host Cypress Bay Lightning volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Coral Springs Charter Panthers.
With the win, Cypress Bay improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lightning travel to Mater Lakes Academy (Miami, FL) to face the Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Bears go into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Panthers now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Coral Springs Charter will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Western (Davie, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-1.
