North Carolina High School Volleyball - McDowell tips East Burke

September 8, 2025: Marion, NC 28752

In Monday's non-league challenge, the host McDowell Titans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the East Burke Cavaliers.

The Titans (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, South Caldwell was tipped by South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers meet the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. East Burke will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to East Rutherford (Bostic, NC).
