Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Pungo Christian Academy Raiders (Belhaven, NC), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Vikings (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against The Oakwood School (Greenville, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, The Oakwood School lost by Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.

The Raiders now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawrence Academy for a test on Tuesday, September 9. Pungo Christian Academy will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.
