Fans at Monday's league contest between the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) and the host San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA), observed Kennedy's volleyball team top San Fernando by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Panorama (Panorama City, CA). The Pythons go into the battle with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Panorama was knocked off by Sylmar (Sylmar, CA), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. San Fernando will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Poly (Sun Valley, CA).
