Fans at Monday's league battle between the Owyhee Storm (Meridian, ID) and the host Borah Lions (Boise, ID), saw Owyhee's soccer squad hold off Borah by a score of 2-1.

The Storm (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Kuna (Kuna, ID). The Kavemen enter the 6A Southern Idaho battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Kuna was edged by Centennial (Boise, ID), 5-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lions confront the Boise Brave (Boise, ID) in a 6A Southern Idaho battle, on Wednesday, September 10. Borah will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Brave come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to Mountain View (Meridian, ID).
