North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 5-0 in a league outing.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Foard (Newton, NC). The Tigers go into the Western Foothills 4A/5A outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Foard was overwhelmed by Newton-Conover (Newton, NC), 1-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bears confront the West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Bunker Hill will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 1-1 league Bandys (Catawba, NC).
