East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), 4-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, East Greenwich moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Avengers travel to Scituate (North Scituate, RI) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 2-0. Scituate 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI)

The Chargers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pilgrim for a Division 2 test on Friday, September 12. Chariho will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 4-0.
