In Monday's league outing, the host Christ Covenant Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the Trinity Christian Tigers.
The Spartans (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC). The Conquerors enter the outing with a 6-0 record. In their last outing, Faith Christian Academy tipped Pamlico Christian Academy (Grantsboro, NC), 4-1, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Trinity Christian will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record.
