With the triumph, Slippery Rock moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Grove City (Grove City, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a District 10 Region 2 outing on Wednesday, September 10. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 2-5. Grove City lost 4-3 in their recent league outing against Hickory (Hermitage, PA)
