In Monday's league outing, the host Don Bosco Cristo Rey Wolfpack soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Smith Jewish Day School Lions.
The Wolfpack (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Spencerville Adventist Academy (Spencerville, MD). The Hornets enter the Potomac Valley outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Spencerville Adventist Academy tipped Berman Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD), 8-0, in a league test.
The Lions now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington International for a Potomac Valley test on Tuesday, September 16. Smith Jewish Day School will clash with a Red Devils team coming off a 6-0 league win over St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-0.
