North Carolina High School Soccer - South Mecklenburg knocks off Hopewell

The South Mecklenburg Sabres soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Hopewell Titans to 1 in the Sabres league victory on Monday.
The Sabres now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they host West Mecklenburg for a Greater Charlotte 7A/8A game on Wednesday, September 10. South Mecklenburg will face a Hawks team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 2-6.
The Titans (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs enter the Greater Charlotte 7A/8A game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Myers Park held off Garinger (Charlotte, NC), 3-1, in a league game.
