Robinson Maroons (Robinson, IL) backers went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL), 6-1 in a non-league outing.
The Maroons (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL). The Golden Aces go into the Little Illini outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Mt. Carmel was overwhelmed by Massac County (Metropolis, IL), 9-0, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL). The Hiltoppers come into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Hillsboro edged Southwestern (Piasa, IL), 4-1, in a league game.
