East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA) fans went home satisfied Monday as they witnessed their softball team gain a win over the host Baldwin Braves (Milledgeville, GA), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. East Laurens will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 12-3 league loss to Central (Macon, GA).

The Braves (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Raiders enter the 3A Region 4 challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, West Laurens overcame Wayne County (Jesup, GA), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
