The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Glynn Academy Terrors (Brunswick, GA) and the visiting Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA), observed Glynn Academy's softball team get by Brantley County by a tally of 7-4.

The Terrors (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Statesboro (Statesboro, GA). The Blue Devils go into the 5A Region 1 bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, Statesboro was routed by Effingham County (Springfield, GA), 10-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Herons battle the Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, September 9. Brantley County will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 18-0 league win over Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA).
