In Monday's league test, the Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) softball squad got by the visiting Calvin Bulldogs (Calvin, OK), by a tally of 1-0.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Moss will attempt to advance on its 11-11 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 4-3 league win over Macomb (Macomb, OK).

The Bulldogs (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Coleman (Coleman, OK). The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Coleman was nipped by Tupelo (Tupelo, OK), 8-2, in a league bout.
