The Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) softball overwhelmed the visiting Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), 15-0 in Monday's league test.
Next, the Red Raiders clash with the Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) in a 4A Region 8 test, on Tuesday, September 9. Madison County will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 8-6 league win over Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA).
The Jaguars (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Meadowcreek was routed by Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA), 23-5, in a non-league outing.
