The MacArthur Highlanders softball squad (Lawton, OK), was routed 11-0 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK)

With the victory, Duncan betters its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Demons host Elgin (Elgin, OK) to battle the Owls in a 5A District 1 bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Elgin lost 6-3 in their recent non-league bout against Blanchard (Blanchard, OK)

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Lawton Wolverines (Lawton, OK) in a 6A District 1 game, on Tuesday, September 9. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
