The Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines softball team scored 3 runs and held the host Elbert County Blue Devils to 0 in the Wolverines non-league win on Monday.

The Wolverines now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Jackson for a 2A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, September 9. Prince Avenue Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Elbert County moves to 12-3 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA) to confront the Patriots in a 1A D-I Region 8 battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 8-4. Oglethorpe County lost 11-3 in their recent non-league battle against Clarke Central (Athens, GA)
