With the triumph, Flowery Branch improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Falcons travel to North Oconee (Bogart, GA) to face the Titans in a 4A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 6-8. North Oconee won 9-3 in their recent non-league bout against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA)

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 9. West Hall will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 10-1 league loss to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA).
