With the win, Winona improves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Nettleton (Nettleton, MS) to face the Tigers in a Class 3A Region 4 test on Tuesday, September 9. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 12-10. Nettleton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Mooreville (Mooreville, MS)

The Bulldogs now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Choctaw County for a Class 3A Region 4 test on Tuesday, September 9. Aberdeen will meet a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Noxubee County (Macon, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 6-5.
