The Animo South Los Angeles Panthers volleyball team (Los Angeles, CA), was knocked off 3-1 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Horace Mann UCLA Community Panthers (Los Angeles, CA)

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Stella High Charter Academy (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles enter the Crosstown battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Stella High Charter Academy dropped by Math & Science College Preparatory (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Larchmont Charter for a Crosstown contest on Wednesday, September 10. Animo South Los Angeles will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 3-1 league win over Foshay (Los Angeles, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 10-4.
