Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA) boosters left the game pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Baker Braves (Baker, CA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Golden Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Golden Valley went down by Canyon (Canyon Country, CA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Braves now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mojave for a Hi-Lo test on Wednesday, September 10. Baker will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lancaster Baptist (Lancaster, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-6.
