In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Beddingfield Bruins volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the North East Carolina Prep Huskies.

With the win, Beddingfield improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Bruins host Farmville Central (Farmville, NC) to face the Jaguars in a Eastern Plains 2A/3A test on Tuesday, September 9. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 7-0. Farmville Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against North Pitt (Bethel, NC)

The Huskies now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. North East Carolina Prep will face a Griffins squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Griffins record now stands at 5-8.
