With the win, Belton-Honea Path improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Crescent (Iva, SC) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 6-5. Crescent lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against West-Oak (Westminster, SC)

Next, the Mustangs meet the Southside Christian Sabres (Simpsonville, SC) in a AAA Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Palmetto will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Sabres come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Powdersville (Greenville, SC).
