The Blake Bears topped the visiting St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bears confront the Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN) in a Independent Metro Athletic game, on Wednesday, September 10. Blake will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Red Hawks go into the game with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to New Life Academy (Woodbury, MN).

The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Breck (Minneapolis, MN). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Breck was dropped by Spectrum (Elk River, MN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
