Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Breathitt County Bobcats (Jackson, KY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Knott County Central beat Jenkins (Jenkins, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats play the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Breathitt County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fairview (Ashland, KY).
