The Fort Chiswell Pioneers volleyball squad (Max Meadows, VA), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA)

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Rappahannock was beaten by Caroline (Milford, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Fort Chiswell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over George Wythe (Wytheville, VA).
