Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) and the host Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC), observed East Wake's volleyball team top Southeast Raleigh by a count of 3-0.

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Franklinton (Franklinton, NC). The Red Rams enter the Northern Six 6A/7A contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Franklinton notched a victory over Southern School of Energy and Sustainability (Durham, NC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 7A contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Southeast Raleigh will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Rams go into the battle with a 8-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Garner (Garner, NC).
