The GALA Goddesses volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Hawkins Hawks to 0 in the Goddesses league victory on Monday.

The Goddesses (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the Coliseum contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, King/Drew notched a victory over West Adams (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hawks battle the Jordan Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 10. Hawkins will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Fremont (Los Angeles, CA).
