The Highlanders (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Three Rivers contest with a 1-3 record.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Martinsville will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Chatham (Chatham, VA).
