In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Hammond Tornadoes volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Thibodaux Tigers.

The Tornadoes (3-0) will now prepare for their test against St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, St. Thomas Aquinas was defeated by Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to E.D. White for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Thibodaux will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-0.
