The Owen County Rebels edged the visiting Heritage Academy Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Rebels confront the Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY) in a District 31 game, on Tuesday, September 9. Owen County will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Eminence (Eminence, KY).

The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Newport (Newport, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league outing with a 2-9 record. In their last outing, Newport was nudged by Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
