Indiana High School Volleyball - New Prairie edged by La Porte

The New Prairie Cougars volleyball squad (New Carlisle, IN), was edged 3-2 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN)

With the win, La Porte improves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Slicers travel to Merrillville (Merrillville, IN) to meet the Pirates in a Duneland contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Pirates enter the contest with a record of 8-9. Merrillville lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN)

Next, the Cougars meet the South Bend Adams Eagles (South Bend, IN) in a Northern Indiana contest, on Thursday, September 11. New Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN).
