Fans at Monday's league contest between the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) and the host San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA), observed Live Oak's volleyball team top San Jose by a tally of 3-0.

The Acorns (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA). The Cardinals enter the BVAL - West Valley contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Mt. Pleasant was beaten by Del Mar (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove for a BVAL - West Valley test on Wednesday, September 10. San Jose will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over James Lick (San Jose, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
