Mississippi High School Volleyball - Stone over Moss Point

The Stone Tomcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Moss Point Tigers to 0 in the Tomcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Tomcats now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Wayne County for a Class 5A Region 4 game on Tuesday, September 9. Stone will confront a War Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS). The War Eagles record now stands at 4-9.

The Tigers (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS). The Aggies come into the Class 4A Region 8 outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, Forrest County Agricultural was topped by Greene County (Leakesville, MS), 3-0, in a league outing.
