In Monday's league challenge, the host Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the UIC College Prep Firecats.

The Mountain Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Bulls come into the Noble Street challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Bulls College Prep beat Golder (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Firecats play the ITW David Speer Academy Pride (Chicago, IL) in a Noble Street challenge, on Monday, September 15. UIC College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Pride come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to Mansueto (Chicago, IL).
