In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Natchitoches Central Chiefs volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Ouachita Parish Lions.
With the win, Natchitoches Central advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Bossier (Bossier City, LA) to face the Bearkats in a Division II District 1 test on Tuesday, September 9. The Bearkats go into the test with a record of 0-2. Bossier lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Caddo Magnet (Shreveport, LA)
The Lions now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benton for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Ouachita Parish will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
