The Nicholas County Bluejackets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Pendleton County Wildcats to 1 in the Bluejackets league triumph on Monday.

The Bluejackets now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Menifee County for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11.

With the loss, Pendleton County drops to 2-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Scott (Covington, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 10-3. Scott won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY)
