Fans at Monday's league contest between the Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA) and the visiting Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), observed Norview's volleyball team hold off Norcom by a count of 3-2.

The Pilots (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Mustangs go into the Eastern battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Manor tipped Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Greyhounds now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maury for a Eastern battle on Wednesday, September 10. Norcom will encounter a Commodores squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Commodores record now stands at 1-0.
