The Palmer Dragons volleyball squad (Marks, MS), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's league battle with the host North Side Gators (Shelby, MS)

With the win, North Side improves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Gators host Greenville (Greenville, MS) to meet the Hornets in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 10. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 4-5. Greenville won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Callaway (Jackson, MS)

Next, the Dragons meet the Water Valley Blue Devils (Water Valley, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 11. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Strayhorn (Sarah, MS).
