The Greenwaves now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Yazoo County for a Class 3A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, September 9. O'Bannon will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Gentry (Indianola, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.

The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Riverside (Avon, MS). The Bulldogs enter the Class 1A Region 6 match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Riverside notched a victory over Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS), 3-0, in a non-league match.
