The Williams Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Rockingham County Cougars to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Monday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Eastern Alamance for a Mid-Carolina 4A/5A/6A outing on Tuesday, September 9. Williams will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Rockingham County drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Cougars host McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to clash with the Phoenix in a Mid-State 3A/4A/5A outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Phoenix come into the outing with a record of 7-5. McMichael won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC)
