With the triumph, Lincoln East moves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Spartans host Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE) to play the Links in a A District contest on Monday, September 13. The Links come into the contest with a record of 4-10. Lincoln High lost 12-0 in their recent league contest against Fremont (Fremont, NE)

In their next game, the Discoverers play the Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE) in a A District contest, on Tuesday, September 14. Columbus will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE).
