In Thursday's non-league contest, the Washburn Rural Blues (Topeka, KS) volleyball squad were winner over the host Blue Valley North West Huskies (Overland Park, KS), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Blues battle the Blue Valley West Jaguars (Stilwell, KS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 16. Washburn Rural will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS).

With the loss, Blue Valley North West moves to 3-2 on the year. The Huskies travel to Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, KS) to battle the Stags in a Eastern Kansas contest on Tuesday, September 21. The Stags go into the contest with a record of 0-3.
