The Orangefield Bobcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns to 0 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bobcats now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridge City for a non-league game on Saturday, September 11. Orangefield will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kountze (Kountze, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 21-4.
The Longhorns (14-11) will now prepare for their game against Hardin (Hardin, TX). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Hardin gained a win over Huntsville (Huntsville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
