The Lake Region Lakers topped the visiting Lewiston Blue Devils volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lakers now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westbrook for a Class B match on Saturday, September 11. Lake Region will clash with a Blue Blazes squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME). The Blue Blazes record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Lewiston drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, September 11. The Eagles enter the test with a record of 0-2. Messalonskee lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Gardiner (Gardiner, ME)
